Boating

The Florida Boating Advisory Council (BAC) was created by the Florida Legislature and placed within the Florida Fish and Wildlife conservation Commission (FWC) to make recommendations to the FWC Commissioners and the Department of Community Affairs regarding issues affecting the boating community. The Issues relating to non-powered vessels and whether their impacts would justify paying into some sort of impact fee similar or dissimilar to motorized vessels have been the subject of discussion for several years inside and outside the Florida Boating Advisory Council.
